Every project begins with a small conversation.
Before After Ring became a platform, it began with a simple belief: stories matter.
Long before there was a website, there were classrooms, church basements, community centers, photographs, notebooks, and conversations with people whose voices were rarely heard.

ESL Community Volunteering
Began assisting adult English learners through community-based ESL programs.
Worked with immigrant adults from diverse backgrounds and witnessed how language shapes confidence, opportunity, and belonging.

Supporting Young ESL Learners
Expanded educational support to younger students navigating bilingual and multicultural environments.
Focused on helping students build confidence through communication, storytelling, and self-expression.

Writing, Storytelling, and Creative Expression
Creative projects in writing, photography, and cultural storytelling became increasingly connected.
Questions of migration, identity, memory, and womanhood began shaping the direction of the work.
